Play and Recreation Area

Ambassador Kindergarten provides safe outdoor play spaces, hygienic and clean recreational area for all children. Play time encompasses a collection of play experiences and materials through which young kids can try new things, experiment, ask questions, talk, read, sing, dance, get messy at times, explore, and listen. Play is an integral part of the curriculum and an essential contributor to a child’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.

All Kindergarten classrooms open out onto large outdoor areas that filled with high quality play equipment and games for learning and fun. The play areas have rubberized, soft flooring for children to run freely and don’t get hurt if they fall down. There are several shaded outdoor play and recreation areas designed for different age groups.

At Ambassador Kindergarten, children are exposed to various kinds of plays; like, role play, sensory play, outdoor play, dramatic play, block play, play dough, water play etc. All these plays have their own roles and importance in early childhood and are designed for different age groups. Free play allows children to choose their play materials and direct their play. This is also coupled with balanced structured play. There is a small basketball court and areas designated for football, running and other games. They learn about the rules and limits of a game and build relationships. They discover different approaches to play and gain confidence, self-worth and inspired thinking, fueled by creativity, curiosity, and the desire to know more.

There are other age-specific play areas, as well as shaded, landscaped seating areas where students can relax, socialize and eat. Through play and recreational activities, children benefit from un-aided and spontaneous learning and prepare for life itself!
